Jim Hynes is the busiest studio trumpet player in New York City. He can be heard on hundreds of TV and radio commercials, news and sports themes, as well as countless record albums and movie soundtracks. He has performed and recorded with some of the top artists in the music business including Sting, Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Tony Bennett, Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Chaka Khan, Huey Lewis and the News, Al Jarreau, and many others. Jim also plays and tours with Paul Simon.
Jim has teamed up with Ralph Rolle from the world famous Apollo Theater to create one of the most exciting bands to ever be heard in the New York area.
