Andricka Hall
The first thing one notices about Andricka Hall is her confident, yet available nature. While watching her perform, there is never a doubt about her knowledge of herself and her effect on her audiences. That self awareness stems from years of performing on stages acress the globe, and extensive training in all areas of music. When looking for adjectives to describe the multi-faceted singer, the words "sizzling", "sensual", and a "petite package of power" were uttered by some of her more ardent fans.
A scholorship to Manhattan School of Music and her attendance at the High School of Music and Arts provided the foundation for the entertainer. Those institutions not only gave the South Carolina native (now living in New York) the diverse background which has allowed her to float through a variety of musical genres, but, also instilled an intense work ethic. Beyond her immense talent, her sense of professionalism is often heralded. It is also that professionalism that has Andricka consistently working with luminaries such as: Alicia Keys, Jennifer Holiday, and Freddie Jackson. Having shared the stage with artists Spyro Gyra, Joan Osborne, Brian McKnight, Lou Reed, Liz Calloway and others, she has also toured with Anastacia, Chaka Khan, Annie Lennox, Taylor Dayne, to name a few.
Never one to rest on one area of her talent, not only has she appeared with acts on The Tonight Show, David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, Andricka has lent her vocal instrument on numerous television and radio jingles, singing voice-overs for the cartoon network, and performing in industrials for AT&T, Verizon, Goodyear, and major pharmaceutical companies.
As a solo artist, she has charted many dance singles in the U.K. and Europe. Having written most of those singles, needless to say, she is a songwriter as well.
