Kip Reed
Currently splitting his time between New York and Cleveland, electric bassist Kip Reed has performed and recorded with numerous major artists in his 25 years as a sideman in venues including Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall in London and L'Olympia in Paris. The luminaries he has shared his talents with include Brazilian vocalist and pianist Tania Maria, jazz organ legend Jack McDuff, disco diva Donna Summer and many others. Reed is frequently utilized on New York recording sessions and shows, notably Tony and Tina's Wedding. In Cleveland, he has made a strong mark as co-leader of the popular Grupo Brasil.
